Rare Hofner 500/8M Ambassador bass made around 1969.

- the bass got a new passive wiring as the active & passive wiring was messed with and non functional (check out the video)

- the original preh pot was stamped 208 (20th week of 1968) - comes with the bass

-playabiltiy is very nice

- the neck is straight and neck angle good

- trussrod works fine

- all oiriginal besides the wiring and the missing pickguard

- this was a smokers instrument: the varnish has a nikotin patina in some places that you cannot really remove but

- it does not smell at all

- the original 513 pickups sound amazing and read around 5,9k on neck and 6,5k on bridge

The bass comes in a hardcase that is a little too big, but protecs well when shipped.

The instrument will be shipped with DHL. If you want another currier, let me know. I use double walled cardboard boxes with enough suitable packaging material like bubble foil.
