1978 Fender Precision Bass USA
Professionally and cleanly fitted with an additional JB pickup. It is an original 1970s Fender Jazz Bass pickup, installed neatly and to a high standard.
The body is in very good condition, retaining its original finish. The tuners, pots, and control plate are all original.
The bridge has been upgraded to a Badass Bass II. The photos show the Fender (new) bridge, and the Badass II bridge is included with the sale.
The instrument presents very well for its age.
There is a small hole on the back of the body, likely from a previously installed strap button.
Low string action, frets are in perfect shape, excellent attack, and both pickups are well-balanced. The bass has only been used in a home studio.
What else can I say? A proper vintage P-Bass with a beautiful rosewood fingerboard.
Neck heel stamps and all the usual date markings are present.
