FENDER STRATOCASTER AMERICAN STANDARD, made in the USA in 1983. The instrument was manufactured at the Fullerton, California, factory during the Dan Smith Era. This original model features the signature Freeflyte bridge and two controls (Volume and Master Tone). The guitar is in beautiful, original condition, with a sunburst finish. The neck is maple with an alder body. It features three factory Fender single-coil pickups and original hardware. The instrument is in working order and ready to play. A sturdy hardshell case is included, but it is not the original Fender case from the era. This model was produced for a relatively short period and represents an interesting phase in Fender's history, preceding the company's acquisition from CBS. The guitar sounds and looks excellent; I highly recommend it and invite you to test it.
