Today on the menu: a true old-timer — a 37-year-old Fender Jazz Bass, Japanese reissue of the legendary 1962 model. A proper classic: a slim, narrow neck with a beautiful amber tint and a traditional 3-Tone Sunburst finish on the body. This is a higher-spec model, equipped with large vintage-style tuners and Alnico pickups.

The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard, while the body is made of basswood, making the instrument fairly lightweight and very comfortable to play. The nut is made of bone, the bridge is classic vintage-style, and the electronics are passive in the classic 2 × Volume + Tone layout.

The bass has undergone our full professional service and is in excellent technical condition — it has low action, stays in tune beautifully, and delivers a powerful, full-range tone.

Visually, it presents very well. It shows normal signs of use appropriate for its age, but nothing that affects playing comfort.
