A great digital delay from the (mid?) 80s—the Aria DEX-500!
Belonging to a series of Japanese-made rackmount effects made by Aria in the 1980s, this unit offers a very analog-sounding mono digital delay with modulation capabilities.
On the front we have one input jack with dedicated potentiometer, controls for dry and wet signal, feedback rate, modulation speed and depth, delay time ratio and range, and a bypass switch.
One the back: another input jack, three outputs (Dry, Mix A, Mix B) and a footswitch connector.
There is nothing much to say, it's just simple and effective. I'm just selling it because I also have its 'bigger brother', the Aria DEX-1000, and I have really too much stuff around—but believe me, it's a great vintage delay.
The unit runs on 230V with attached power cord, it's perfectly working (no noisy pots or connectors) and in excellent cosmetic conditions—a real beauty to look at.
