Here is a beautiful original Marshall Supa Fuzz dating from the early 1970s, featuring its distinctive grey hammerite enclosure.
The Supa Fuzz is one of the classic British fuzz pedals of the period. Derived from the Tone Bender family of circuits, it delivers a wonderfully rich, thick and expressive fuzz tone, with plenty of sustain and a very dynamic attack. The two Filter and Volume controls provide a wide range of sounds, from biting fuzz to thicker, more saturated tones.
This example is in very nice vintage condition, retaining its characteristic grey hammered finish, raised lettering and two original-style black knobs with metal inserts. There are a few minor signs of use, but the overall cosmetic condition is particularly good for a pedal of this age.
Inside, the pedal features a circuit board marked FUZZ KF, vintage metal-can transistors and period electronic components consistent with early-1970s production. Detailed photographs of the circuitry and wiring are included.
