About this listing
Here for sale we have a Gibson Flying V Electric Guitar in Natural Antique finish. Made in the USA in 2021, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an Aluminium Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, an Aluminium Stopbar tailpiece, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, and a set of Gibson BurstBucker pickups. These pickups are wired to two independent volume controls, a master tone control, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck plays beautifully, with a Slim Taper profile which might be described as a 'D' shape which provides a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The gloss finish to the rear assists with navigation of the 24.75" scale, whilst the design of the body ensures that access to the top frets is completely unrestricted. The Rosewood of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 12" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. Indeed, fast articulate lead lines are just as manageable as chord playing and riffsThe pair of Gibson BurstBucker 2 & 3 humbuckers are Gibson's modern recreation of the original PAF pickup, delivering thick, full-bodied tones which are well suited to blues, classic & heavy rock. The neck position is warm and full-bodied, driving your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix with ease. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and can handle serious amounts of gain for a saturated tone on your riffs and rhythm playing. The controls are simpler than is typical for a Gibson guitar which is perfect for such a performance-focussed instrument, allowing you ample tone shaping options without intruding on the playing experience.Brand- GibsonModel- Flying VFinish- Antique NaturalYear- 2021Made In- USABody- MahoganyNeck- MahoganyNeck Profile- Slim TaperFingerboard- RosewoodFingerboard Radius- 12"Frets- 22Scale Length- 24.75"Nut Width- 1.695"Pickups- BurstBucker 3 (B), Burstbucker 2 (N)Controls- 2x Volume, Master Tone, 3-way Pickup SelectorLuthier ReportOur ID: 1140526208771Weight: 6.7lbs Serial: 200610391Aesthetic Condition:Headstock: Overall very good condition.
