A brilliant mastering equalizer with lots of options. Can also be controlled by a dedicated plugin which makes it easier to re-adjust to previous projects even though you can save presets manually in the hardware as well.
This unit has been mandatory on my mastering chain. Great analog softness and the filters are really great, often used to shape the low end.
Mid Side is also a good feature which I often use.
And as with all analog equalizers, you can really push the amount of boosting/attenuation on the bands without it sounding "bad".
As with all my units, I use it with care. I always make sure to have the hardware warming up before I run any signals through them. And I ofcourse carefully gainstage.
This was bought in 2023 though Thomann for $4200.
