The Cutting Edge is a Nutube high-gain tube distortion pedal designed to deliver tight, aggressive, and precise modern metal tones. Its circuitry is entirely analog, with an internal voltage increased to 15V for greater headroom and dynamics. It features an active Bass/Middle/Treble EQ, a very useful Tight control for bass response, and three modes: Standard (in front of an amp), Preamp (in the return channel of an amp or power amp), and Cab-Sim (for direct connection to an interface or PA system).
