Up for sale is a beautiful 1983 Fender Stratocaster from the Dan Smith era, finished in Sienna Sunburst.
An exceptionally clean example that has clearly seen very little use throughout its life. Apart from a few small and superficial signs of use here and there, the guitar presents very close to mint condition.
The Sienna Sunburst finish is one of our favourite, with its translucent character that allows the natural grain of the three-piece body to show through.
The guitar is completely original and unmodified, retaining its original Fullerton pickups, electronics, hardware and finish.
The original single coils deliver a fantastic classic Strat sound: crystallyne, glassy and articulate, with plenty of sparkle an definition. The bridge pickup can also get surprisingly aggressive when pushed with picks dynamics and/or overdrive, giving the guitar a lot of versatility and character.
The guitar has been just checked and set-up: it sounds great all over the fretboard, with no unwanted noise or buzzing. Electronics work exactly as they should and the instrument is ready to play.
The guitar comes with its original hardshell case and a bonus Fender strap, carefully packed for a safe ride.
