Here is a very original 1958 Double Anniversary in original green finish. If you collect you may be hard pressed to find a nicer one as the pics clearly show. I purchased this from the original owner almost 15 years ago who stated that she was gifted this by her father in 1958 for Christmas. She rarely played it and it sat in a closet with no string tension for decades. (Ironically she threw out the matching Gretsch amp decades ago)!This one has an excellent original neck angle. There’s a few minor nicks and small dings but overall this makes a super clean appearance. When I purchased it there was the same amount of very minor binding deterioration on the upper bouts. (See pics). My luthier stabilized it after I obtained it years ago and no more has since appeared.All original electronics with early PAF Flitertrons. The original owner stated this Gretsch came to her with the pictured vintage Melita bridge from the music store.The neck is very straight and truss responds correctly. Original frets have minor wear and nothing excessive. Some of the frets appear like they are slightly lifting and may need re-seating down the road but the action is low and perfect just as it sits now.It has the original case with pictured paperwork (even a receipt from the layaway from the original music store in Philly from 1958)This will ship professionally packed in a secure shipping box fully insured.
