Fully original Marshall 6100 valve amplifier, in very good condition. Both externally and internally, it is as good as new. The EL34 valves in the power stage have been replaced once; everything else is original.

Marshall celebrated their 30th anniversary in 1992 with this model, the 30th Anniversary model. There was a limited-edition purple-blue model, followed by this black production model which, like the limited edition, featured EL34 valves. Marshall later switched to using 5881 valves instead.

Marshall wanted to celebrate its remarkable history with this amp and has incorporated the sounds of legendary predecessors into this 3-channel amplifier. Think of the JTM-45, 1959 Super Lead / Plexi and JCM800/900. The second channel offers three distinct tones via small switches, ranging from blues and AC/DC to Van Halen! In addition, a third high-gain channel has been added for truly powerful lead and metal sounds.

This is a highly versatile amplifier, combining the sounds of all these amplifiers into one beast of an amp.

It also features many extra options, such as switchable power output from 100 to 50 and 25 watts, for a full sound at lower volumes. An effects loop that can be used in parallel or in series, a line input (to the power amp) and a line output (after the preamp), and an XLR output for connection to a mixing desk or DI. The three channels can be switched on the amp itself, using the supplied footswitch, and even via MIDI with a MIDI footswitch.

It also features a host of additional options, such as switchable power output from 100 to 50 and 25 watts, for full-bodied sound at lower volumes. An effects loop that can be used in parallel or in series, a line input (to the power amp) and a line output (after the pre-amp), and an XLR output for connection to a mixing desk or DI. The three channels can be switched on the amp using the supplied footswitch, and even via MIDI with a MIDI footswitch.

I bought this brand new in early 1994, so I am the first and only owner. At the time, I regularly used it for rehearsals and gigs with a 4x12 cabinet; later, I used it at home with the Laney 2x12 shown in the photo. This Laney cabinet is also for sale, if you want it make me an offer. I’ve now decided to part with it so that someone else can enjoy it!
