The JICO Skratch 101-40 Rubi Stylus has been specially developed for beginner DJs who are gaining their first experience in mixing, scratching and beat juggling, or who wish to specifically improve their technique. As the latest model in the tried-and-tested N44 series, this replacement stylus set offers an excellent combination of an attractive price, high build quality and reliable performance.

The set includes two replacement needles, making it ideal for DJ set-ups with two turntables and ready for immediate use. Thanks to its compatibility with the JICO J44A 7, J44D, J50, Impact and Clipper, as well as the Shure M44-7 and Shure M44G, the stylus can be easily swapped for the existing one – there is no need to replace the entire system.

At the heart of the Skratch 101-40 is the high-quality 0.4 mm ruby stylus tip. Ruby is characterised by its exceptional hardness and high wear resistance, ensuring consistently precise playback and a long service life. Particularly when learning new scratching techniques, which often involve more vigorous movements or imprecise hand movements, the robust construction impresses with its reliable performance and gentle tracking of the record.

Whether used with classic vinyl or a Digital Vinyl System (DVS), the JICO Skratch 101-40 Rubi Stylus offers excellent tracking accuracy and secure groove contact. Even during fast backspins, intense scratch routines or beat juggling, tracking remains stable and provides precise feedback at all times. This gives budding DJs the control they need to continuously improve their timing, feel and technique.
