DIATONE DS-109 - Rare Vintage Japan Domestic Market (JDM)

For sale is a highly unique and rare set of Diatone DS-109 multi-purpose full-range loudspeakers (10cm). Diatone is the legendary high-end audio division of Mitsubishi Electric, made in Japan. This model was never officially released in Europe, making it an extremely rare find for collectors of vintage Japanese hi-fi gear.

These compact monitors are highly powerful (6 Ohm, 120W max input) and built for multi-purpose hi-fi use, studio monitoring, or robust setups due to their thermal shock-resistant design.

Condition:

The speakers are pre-owned with some light cosmetic scuffs on the plastic casing, but structurally and technically in excellent shape. The cones and surrounds are in very clean, healthy condition with no cracks or rot. The metal grills are free of dents. They produce a beautiful, crisp, vintage analog sound.
