Small but mighty, the 60’s Sennheiser MD406! The MD406 is often referenced as a very rare cousin of the mighty and famous MD409. This is a very similar, though slightly smaller capsule. The mic has quite heavy deep low end roll off, and are awesome for high SPL sources. 

These are much more commonly seen as MD408 microphones, the classic “rooftop concert” gooseneck mic, as well as 'Let It Be' studio vocal. They also generally have the same capsule as the MD405. All are incredible mics on a guitar amp or anything loud. Clearly sweet vocal mics as well. Again, that deep low end roll off really contributes to those types of sources.

This one includes the hardly-seen original table stand, and a large tuchel to XLR adapter. It’s been deep cleaned internally and is ready for daily use in studio or on stage. The table stand is fitted with a new XLR cable as well, replacing the original small tuchel. New label has been made around the microphone as well (original had all paint removed). There is also new paint on the "S" logos on both the mic and stand.
