Rheem Kee Bass – Vintage 1960s Bass Keyboard / Fuzz Organ

A very cool and increasingly rare Rheem Kee Bass, a compact vintage bass keyboard dating from the late 1960s.

Designed as a portable bass instrument, the Kee Bass features a short keyboard together with a surprisingly comprehensive set of tone-shaping controls. The front panel includes Bass Booster, selectable Mellow/Bright tone, built-in Fuzz, Sustain/Percussion modes and Slow/Fast Decay, giving it everything from deep, rounded bass notes to aggressive fuzzy and percussive sounds.

The striking red woodgrain control panel, cream switches and Rheem styling make this a fantastic example of late-'60s electronic instrument design. It comes housed in its original suitcase-style case, making the whole instrument wonderfully compact and distinctive.

This example shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including some marks and oxidation to the metal trim, but overall it retains a great vintage appearance. Please study the photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition.
