Destined to be a future classic? It is an unique model, and does look a bit cool....overall general condition is "very good", with only minimal dinks/abrasions.Any 24-y-old synthesizer is going to have niggly faults, through simply being used.....iffy key action, erratic operation of switches/pots/joysticks etc. Read what former owner (from Derbyshire) did to the instrument.................."Unlike most Korgs it has a very responsive front panel – all 63 tact switches behind the buttons were replaced in 2026. It also had the keyboard stripped down, cleaned, all contacts checked and cleaned and where necessary fitted with new contact strips.As such it's a delight to use, with menus and editor selections opening immediately, and keys responding well to velocity and aftertouch across the board.The encoder caps have been replaced as the ones on it weren't original and weren't a good fit – I chose Korg Taktile caps for the four assignable controls, and Roland VS caps for the KARMA and tempo controls because these are smaller, have a clear marking, and don't get that rubbery, sticky feeling the Korg controls get (like so many soft-touch things of the era).The disk drive is working, tested with formatting discs and reading discs formatted on USB external drives and old Mac LC internal drive. It comes with a couple of disks to restore the original sounds, and a USB stick with manuals and more disc images. It has been updated to the final version of KARMA OS."Klassic Keys GB love to find interesting items, but they have to function properly. There is no point in selling something that will require repair in the near future. This Karma has had a FULL service, and comes with a 6-month guarantee (not including owner misuse, FDD, key action problems or display failure). The 61 keys are working perfectly at this point in time, with velocity and after-touch...if they are hammered, they can break; so treat the instrument with respect. A proper service can cost £300+........Sounds like:- one KARMA definition <> "every thought, word or action creates a ripple (or energy) that returns to you". In a musical context, any sound played on the synth will be musically "expanded", as it were. ..best watch the videos to understand the concept! Its an unique instrument. Weight is 10Kgs (quite well made, with metal casing) dims are 110 x 32 x 12 cms. Loaded with a comprehensive library of great sounds, with a sequencer, FDD and much more....Synth comes with a USB stick, some discs, a sustain pedal and the correct external "wall wart", running at 230Vac.UK price is a rigid £435.
