The Grover 102 Series Rotomatics Tuners changed guitar tuning forever when they were first introduced, improving tuning accuracy, adjustability and durability.Vintage tuners had stamped, sheet metal housings that allowed dirt in which degraded the gears over time and also required lubrication, Grover Rotomatics changed that by enclosing the gears in a cast metal housing. Sealing the gears in means they are lubricated for life with no maintenance necessary.
