This Fender 1963 Deluxe 6G3 in brown is in near mint condition. The amp is pretty stunning - it is really hard to find such a clean example. The amp has also been serviced, so you can rock it with reckless abandon.I changed the filter caps when the amp came in, as well as the bypass and bias caps. The capacitors on the board in the chassis were re-housed in the original paper sleeves. I installed a grounded power cable as well. I always test all the tubes and clean the pots, jacks, and tube sockets. The Oxford 12" speaker has been re-coned but is otherwise the original unit. The tremolo footswitch included is so clean that it has to be a really good reproduction. The tolex covering, cabinet, baffle, grille, knobs, handle, potentiometers, both transformers, and the speaker basket are all original. The grille is original and in excellent condition with one small stretched spot. The chassis is near mint. All of the tubes are vintage - the preamp tube brand is unknown. Power tubes are Fender-branded 6V6; the rectifier is an Amperex GZ34.The 6G3 Deluxe is a 20-watt combo running two 6V6 power tubes, a GZ34 rectifier, and three 12AX7/7025 preamp tubes. These amps are famous for their bark and their sweet tremolo.
