About this listing
The Boss RPD-10 Digital Panning Delay is a vintage Japanese-made digital delay from the Boss Micro Rack Series. Designed for stereo processing, it combines conventional digital delay with a distinctive panning function that can move the delayed signal between the left and right channels, creating rhythmic movement and a spacious stereo image.
Its controls allow the delay time, feedback, effect level, and panning behaviour to be adjusted for a wide range of sounds. The RPD-10 can produce everything from short delay effects and repeating echoes to animated stereo patterns, making it useful for guitar, keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines, and studio processing. The panning section is particularly effective when the unit is connected to a stereo amplification, recording, or mixing setup.
Made in Japan during the Micro Rack era, the Boss RPD-10 combines early digital delay technology with a compact half-rack design. Its dedicated stereo panning capability gives it a distinctive place among vintage Boss rack effects, especially for setups where movement and stereo depth are an important part of the sound.
