For sale: Kawai K1R, 1U rack expander from the 1980s, in excellent cosmetic and functional condition.
The unit has been tested and is fully working in every part. All functions respond correctly via MIDI, and the unit is stable and ready to use.
The K1R is the rack version of the well-known Kawai K1, a PCM digital synthesizer capable of combining up to 4 waveforms per patch. It delivers a typical “vintage digital” sound, perfect for:
lo-fi and atmospheric pads
digital basses from the ’80s/’90s
textural and experimental sounds
electronic and ambient productions

Externally in excellent overall condition, with normal signs of age but no relevant defects.
