I am offering an absolute masterpiece of electronic music history: the PPG Wave 2.2. Designed by Wolfgang Palm in the early 1980s, this instrument defined the sound of an entire decade, fueling hits by artists like Depeche Mode, Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Tears for Fears. It is the ultimate fusion of early digital wavetable grit and gorgeous, warm analog filtering.

This specific PPG Wave 2.2 has been extensively and meticulously prepared for its next owner to ensure maximum reliability and a pristine playing experience:

• Complete Keyboard Overhaul: The original keybed has been completely refurbished. New bushings, cleaned contacts, and precision leveling mean it plays beautifully, evenly, and exactly as it should.
• Extensive Recapping: To protect this valuable instrument for the future, numerous electrolytic capacitors (Elkos) across the power supply and voice boards have been replaced with high-quality, modern components.
• Rock-Solid OS 8.3 Upgrade: The system runs on the highly stable and desired OS 8.3 firmware, ensuring optimized MIDI handling, better system stability, and smooth operation.

Technically, this PPG Wave 2.2 is in absolute top-tier condition. All 8 voices tune perfectly, the SSM 2044 analog filters sweep beautifully, and the unique digital waveforms sound incredibly crisp and deep. Optically, it looks fantastic with its iconic blue chassis showing only minor, honest signs of wear consistent with a well-cared-for vintage synth of this age.
