Fender Stratocaster ST-357V MIJ-Fujigen 1984/1987 Vintage '57 Reissue

Fender Stratocaster ST-357V - a rare model and hard to find, a vintage reissue from '57 with serial number: F003243. Such small quantities were produced over a short period that Fender did not even manage to list them in their catalog. Made in Japan in 1986 at the Fujigen factory, from which come the legendary guitars from the golden era of Japanese Fender guitars, characterized by high-quality craftsmanship from selected materials. The guitar originally came with a white pickguard, but inspired by David Gilmour’s black Strat, I purchased a black pickguard, and the back cover I painted black. I replaced the original black roller string trees on the headstock, which I keep and will include with the guitar. The body inside is shielded with aluminum foil. The guitar is in perfect condition; the usual cracks around the neck pocket are missing. The neck is absolutely perfectly straight and fits into the pocket very tightly, with no gaps and there is no shim. The truss rod works perfectly. Low action of 1.5 mm at E6 and 1 mm at E1, there is no buzzing and it plays extremely easily. The electronics on the pickguard are still with the original factory solder joints and work absolutely correctly. The pickups are in original condition, M250kΩ A '96 K potentiometers, only the original switch YM-50 was replaced with a new genuine Fender 5-way switch (model number 51993), but I also keep the original switch, which will be provided. The guitar is set up with new 9–42 Ernie Ball strings, the tremolo holds tuning, the tuners are Gotoh – they do not go out of tune. The frets are slightly worn but were leveled, recrowned, and polished by a luthier. As a note, a few small dings on the body and back of the neck and usual signs of use on the neck itself, which are almost invisible to the eye. I made an effort to take the best and most detailed photos possible, and I also recorded a video which I attach here as proof that the photos are real and have not been processed with Photoshop to hide defects, and you will receive what you see. Will be shipped in a brand new ABS hard case.
