A real CANDY! A beautiful full-size 4/4 double bass by Jan Basta, made in Schönbach around 1900. A wonderful old instrument with plenty of character, impressive dimensions, and a deep, resonant sound.
This is a substantial instrument with a genuinely deep, rich voice and the unmistakable character of an old Central European bass. It is in very good condition for its age and features its original tuners associated with Jan Basta’s patented design.
