This beautiful cello, full of historical charm, has recently been professionally set up by a luthier. The work included:
- A new bridge
- Soundpost adjustment
- New strings (different from those shown in the photos)
- Cleaning and polishing of the body
The cello has a powerful, deep bass and a clear, singing, projecting middle and upper register. It is therefore suitable for solo performances as well as chamber music and orchestral playing.
