Rare 1989 Steinberger GL2 12-String — Original Collector’s Example with 12TracTuner

It’s time for me to let one instrument go from my Steinberger collection. This is a rare 1989 Steinberger GL2 12-string, an exceptional collector’s instrument and a fantastic-sounding, highly playable guitar.

The guitar is equipped with the innovative 12TracTuner, Steinberger’s unique 12-string tuning system. It allows extremely precise tuning and features individual saddles for each string, making it possible to set the action of every string independently. Reportedly, only around 200 TracTuner units were produced, making 12-string Steinbergers equipped with this system particularly rare and desirable among collectors.

The instrument is in fantastic condition (please check the pictures, one tiny surface scratch is shown) and completely original (no modifications or alterations). Frets are in great shape also (check images).) Moreover, the TracTuner was serviced (disassembled, rebuilt and lubricated) to ensure that the mechanism operates properly and smoothly. I can provide pictures of the service work on request. Pickups are 2  2 EMG 85 which of course are in perfect order.
