Guitar Amps For Sale on Reverb
Your guitar is only one piece of your tone. A guitar amp accounts for a huge component of your sound and your search, for the perfect rig should never be limited. Whether you're looking for the classic breakup of a '60s Fender or the British top-end of a Vox, browse new, used and vintage guitar amps from classic manufacturers like Orange, Marshall, Fender, Vox and more.
What Is an Amp?
An amp takes the output from your guitar’s pickups and amplifies the electrical signal. In tube guitar heads, the sound is amplified via vacuum tubes (also called valves). Solid state amps use transistor circuits to convert your pickup signal into an audio wave and amplify it.
Amps often have gain, volume, and equalization controls. Some may also have a built-in reverb or tremolo unit. Amps aren’t exclusive to electric guitars either -- you can find a selection of acoustic and bass amps on Reverb.com.
