This small-but-mighty bass combo amp is the perfect solution for café gigs, rehearsals, and studio-grade bass tones at home. It functions wonderfully as a reference monitor on larger stages and does a fantastic job amplifying acoustic instruments as well. In addition to standard AC power input, this model features a DC power input (USB Type-C port) that allows you to run the amp for hours on end straight off an external 20V battery. Whether playing indoors, entertaining a patio or busking on the street, this little amp is up to the challenge.
Each of the lightweight 4” Neodynium speakers is powered by its own amplifier, providing excellent efficiency and a high damping factor (higher is better) to keep the bass tight and punchy. And without getting into too much other tech verbiage, the “RALFR” (Rectangular Auxiliary Low Frequency Radiator) does an amazing job harnessing the power coming off the speakers to augment the low end in a way that makes this small enclosure sound many times its size. It’s not a gimmick. In fact, you can feel the air moving out of the back of the amp. The results are real and fill out the 30Hz to 150Hz range with amazing fullness and accuracy.
