A lovely example of a late-'70s Martin D12-18, built in Nazareth, Pennsylvania and offering everything you'd hope for from a vintage Martin 12-string.The combination of a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides gives this guitar a beautifully balanced voice, with plenty of sparkle and shimmer from the octave strings while retaining the warmth and punch that makes the D12-18 such a popular model. Open chords sound huge and rich, while fingerpicked passages have a wonderfully detailed, piano-like quality.Vintage Martin 12-strings have become increasingly sought after over recent years, particularly clean examples that haven't suffered the structural issues often associated with older 12-string acoustics.
