The fingerboard has a "compound radius (10"-14")" specification, which flattens towards the higher positions, balancing ease of grip in the lower positions with smooth fingering in the higher positions. A tapered heel cut at the joint makes accessing the higher positions easy.The pickups are Ultra Noiseless Vintage in a PJ configuration, designed to minimize noise. It blends the sound of a Precision Bass with the crispness of a Jazz Bass in a well-balanced way.It features switchable active/passive modes and supports 3-band EQ (in active mode) equalization via a built-in 18V-powered preamp.
