With the WA-87jr in nickel finish , Warm Audio brings the legendary sound character of the famous '87 studio microphone to a modern, affordable format. or vocals, acoustic guitar, drums, piano or content creation - this large-diaphragm condenser microphone delivers exactly the level of detail, clarity and studio polish you'd expect from a true classic. Thanks to the transformerless FET design, the WA-87jr impresses with clean, low-noise signal transmission with maximum precision.

At the heart of the WA-87jr is a vintage-accurate K87 dual-diaphragm capsule, taken directly from the professional WA-87 R2. This capsule design is one of the most coveted in recording history and gives the microphone its clear highs, detailed mids and typical polished studio sound.

This makes the WA-87jr ideal for:

A -10 dB pad and an 80 Hz high-pass filter are also available. This allowsloud sound sources to be recorded without distortion - with a maximum sound pressure limit of 125 dB SPL without the pad and even 135 dB SPL with the pad activated. This means that the sound always remains clear and controlled, even at high volumes.

The scope of delivery includes a sturdy shockmount, a hardmount and an elegant leather case for storage.
