Vintage provides a warm old-school sound with tube character, Contour lowers the mids for crisp slap sounds, and Bright emphasizes the highest frequencies for increased punch. In addition, the Fender Rumble 40 features a 4-band tone control for precise tone adjustment.

Switchable Overdrive

The switchable overdrive elicits juicy distortions from the Fender Rumble 40 if desired, which give the Bass sounds of rock and metal the final touch. While the Drive control determines the intensity of the Overdrive, the Level control adjusts its volume.
