I am selling my Akai S-950 sampler.
This sampler has achieved cult status; I am only selling it because I own another S-950.
A new display with a very stylish color scheme was recently installed — it is brand new!
The sampler has 2.25 MB of RAM, representing the maximum possible expansion. That was the limit back then; the standard configuration was 750 KB. :-)
I have just tested all functions, including sampling; everything works, including all the buttons.
I was unable to test the floppy disk drive as I don't have any disks on hand.
The floppy drive is not strictly necessary for operating the sampler.
The rare IB-109 SCSI board is installed (see photos).
There is no audible humming, buzzing, or similar noise from aging components.
