The Electrodyne 501 is a two-stage, discrete-transistor, transformer-coupled 500 Series microphone preamp based on classic Electrodyne circuit designs. It also includes an active front-panel DI that interacts directly with the microphone input transformer.
Features include up to 68 dB of gain, a stepped gain control, adjustable output level, a 20 dB pad, switchable microphone input impedance and a clip indicator.
It is a versatile preamp for microphones as well as direct recording of bass, guitar, keyboards and other instruments.
Only the specific module and accessories described above are included. A 500 Series rack is required and is not included.
I have a second Electrodyne 501 listed separately and will consider a reasonable offer for the pair.
