Inspired by the Southern American sound, it is a warm overdrive with plenty of sustain. While it is perfect for single-coil pickups, its input gain section allows level compensation for all pickup outputs, or it can be used as a boost. The Fat switch boosts the low frequencies for a fatter and more powerful sound. The internal circuitry doubles the 9V to 18V for wider dynamic range. The new double-contact grounding circuit (D.C.G. Circuit) uses the sleeve of the output jack as another point of contact to the pedal's ground circuit to avoid loose connection and offer improved sound quality. The LED will begin to go out when the battery voltage drops below 7 volts.
