Looking to sell this beauty of a 2017 PRS SE 277 Semi-hollow Soapbar Baritone 6 string guitar in Translucent Charcoal finish, with professionally upgraded Bare Knuckle ‘Pig 90 soapbar pickups (~$400 CAD). Currently it is strung with D'Addario Flatwound strings (13/18/26/42/56/65). A new set of Ernie Ball Slinky Baritone strings (13/18/30/44/56/72) and the Schaller Strap-lock strap female h/w are in the included PRS gigbag.I am the second owner of this guitar. It was never used live, always kept in temperature and humidity stable environments, and has no scratches or wear and tear anywhere except for light pick-grazing on the bridge pickup cover. This guitar is an excellent example of the PRS SE line, featuring a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, mahogany body, beveled maple top (with natural binding), flame maple veneer and single f-hole cut out. The pickups are a major improvement over the stock pickups the SE 277 soapbars come with.I actually love the sound and playability of this guitar, but I just don't get around to using it much. My jams are always with my standard guitars.From Bare Knuckle Pickups:The Warpig 90, or 'Pig 90 as it's known, was created in response to customer requests for a P90 version of the Warpig humbucker and has been made to order since 2003. Demand has been such that it simply had to join the ranks formally in the official Bare Knuckle range.The colossal output of the 'Pig 90 is derived from a pair of custom size Alnico V bar magnets and scatter-wound coils of 45 AWG wire. The tone is truly deserving of the term 'fat', with deep, rich bottom-end, throaty mids and sweet highs. Single notes have incredible weight behind them and chords have serious intensity. High gain applications are easily handled with individual notes always sounding full and defined no matter how saturated the tone.Although the main role of the 'Pig 90 is for handling overdrive, it never loses sight of its true P90 character. Producing really solid contemporary clean tones as well as powerful driven tones, it's equally at home with slide guitar as it is extreme metal.
