The Grover Original Milk Bottle Rotomatics 102V Series Machine Heads are a faithful replica of the "Milk Bottle" style Rotomatics that became an industry standard decades ago. Vintage Aesthetic, Modern Precision Named for the distinctively shaped gear housing that tapers like an old-fashioned milk bottle, these tuners are designed for players who want to maintain or restore a vintage aesthetic on their guitar. While they look the part of a mid-century original, they have been updated internally to meet the performance standards of modern musicians.Beneath the retro housing, Grover has replaced the original lower-ratio gears with a much smoother 18:1 gear ratio. This allows for far more precise tuning adjustments than were possible on the vintage units they emulate. The internal gears are also sealed and permanently lubricated, ensuring they operate smoothly and remain protected from dust and corrosion over time. Reliable Build & Compatibility These machine heads are built to be a convenient "drop-in" replacement for most standard Grover 102 and 502 series tuners.
