Apogee Symphony I/O Mk II Thunderbolt interface in excellent condition, with very little cosmetic wear.

It has been kept in a professional, smoke-free studio since 2022 and works perfectly. It was used on multiple platinum-certified records and has been completely reliable throughout. Only selling because I have moved to a different interface setup.

This unit has two Apogee 8x8S2 modules installed, giving you:

• 16 analog inputs
• 16 analog outputs
• 16 digital inputs
• 16 digital outputs
• AES or optical digital I/O on each eight-channel module
• ADAT/SMUX support over optical
• Coaxial S/PDIF I/O
• Thunderbolt connectivity

Each 8x8S2 module provides eight channels of analog I/O alongside eight channels of either AES or optical digital I/O. With both modules installed, the system provides full 16x16 analog I/O plus up to 16x16 digital I/O, which can be used simultaneously.

The digital format can also be selected independently for each module, allowing one module to run AES while the other runs optical.

This is the original dual-8x8S2 Symphony I/O Mk II configuration rather than the later 16x16 SE version. The main advantage of this setup is the additional 16 channels of AES or optical I/O alongside the full 16x16 analog conversion.
