We’ve just received a Fender Japan ST72-65 O0 (serial numbers from 1997–2000)!

This is the popular Fender Japan Stratocaster!

Its appeal lies in its playability and ease of handling, thanks to its consistently high-quality construction.

This model was designed based on the 1972 Stratocaster.

Its key features include a large headstock, a bullet-style truss rod nut, and a three-point neck joint.

The serial number is “O013667,” and it bears the “Crafted in Japan” inscription.

Based on the serial number, we estimate this guitar was manufactured between 1997 and 2000.

After this guitar arrived at our store, we performed repairs to correct the fingerboard, including neck straightening

and filling in the neck’s skunk line.

In addition, our in-house repair technician has performed a full maintenance and adjustment,

so there are no issues with normal use, and it is in a condition where you can play it with confidence.

Neck: Currently shows no warping; it is nearly straight.

Truss Rod: Confirmed to turn more than 45 degrees in both directions.

Number of Frets: 21 frets

Fret Wear: Approximately 70% of original height remaining overall.

String Action: Currently approximately 2.0 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string, and approximately 1.5 mm at the 12th fret on the 1st string.

Nut Width: Approximately 42 mm

Scratches and Stains: Scratches and dents resulting from use and aging are visible throughout the instrument.
