This 1993 Orville Les Paul Standard, built by FujiGen, is an exceptional example of Gibson Japan's early production. Named after Orville H. Gibson, the founder of Gibson, the Orville brand was introduced for the Japanese domestic market and quickly earned a reputation for outstanding build quality and attention to detail.
Today, early FujiGen-built Orvilles are highly respected by players and collectors alike, offering authentic vintage Les Paul feel and tone with the renowned precision of Japanese craftsmanship.
Finished in a gorgeous Honey Burst, this guitar features a beautifully figured flamed maple top with excellent depth and chatoyance that changes dramatically depending on the viewing angle and lighting.
The instrument has been carefully inspected and remains 100% original, including the pickups, electronics and hardware.
As expected for this model, it features the original standard neck tenon.

Condition
Near Mint.
It is honestly difficult to believe this guitar is over 30 years old. It appears to have spent nearly its entire life carefully stored and rarely played.
The finish retains an exceptional gloss, while the hardware and plastics have aged beautifully.
The only notable cosmetic flaw is a tiny chip on the lower edge of the body, visible in the photos. Apart from that, only extremely light handling marks consistent with careful storage.
The frets show minimal wear.
The neck is perfectly straight, the truss rod functions correctly, and the electronics work flawlessly.
