A beautiful custom snare drum from SSS Solid Shell Shop in California with an 8-piece design. The brown-painted shell, featuring SSS's signature wood grain, measures 14x6". The body is crafted from a solid block of ponderosa wood sourced from the Sequoia National Forest. It boasts a 1cm wall thickness and rounded rabbet edges.

The shell is fitted with eight chrome-colored lugs, a butt end, and a strainer. The wooden hoops with gold claws and tension rods perfectly complement the brown shell. The gold air vent completes this beautiful, one-of-a-kind snare drum.
The hardware and shell are new and unused, and it comes with Remo Encore heads that have only been tested. The wooden hoops have minor indentations from the claws used during previous snare assembly, but are otherwise new and unused.
Expect a sound comparable to acrylic shells. Clear. and powerful.
