The Henry Radio DYN MK C is a real vintage character mic with a heavy cast metal body, classic industrial looks, probably made in 44, one year before the war was over. It has been tested and is fully working, with the original dynamic capsule intact. The output is via a large Tuchel connector.
A nice bit of context: Henry Radio was an electro acoustics company based in Vienna, active roughly from the 1930s until the 1960s. Radiomuseum lists the Dyn Mk c as an early model from around 1940 and notes that the type is known to have been supplied to the Wehrmacht, with some examples carrying a BAL stamp. Period correct large Tuchel connections were common on German and Austrian broadcast gear and later became strongly associated with German television. That background fits this mic perfectly, it is built for utility first, and it delivers the kind of focused vintage presence that still works brilliantly in modern mixes.
Condition is very good for its age, with only light wear and natural patina from long storage. Sonically this mic is the star on guitar amps. It cuts through the mix effortlessly, adds focused midrange punch, and stays smooth on top without getting harsh. If you want instant character and a bold vintage presence for amps, vocals, or creative processing, this one delivers.
