Selling a 2004 Boss DS-1 distortion pedal, made in Taiwan. This unit has been personally modified in the style of the famous Keeley mod.
Please note: this is not an official Keeley product, but a custom DIY mod inspired by the Keeley design.
The mod transforms the stock DS-1 into a much more versatile and dynamic pedal.
Expect smoother, more refined distortion, enhanced midrange presence, better note definition, and a warmer low end. It responds well to picking dynamics and works great both as a standalone drive or to push an already driven amp.
Ideal for: classic rock, blues-rock, grunge, alternative, punk, and lead tones that cut through the mix without being harsh
