Zildjian K Custom Dark 17" Crash Cymbal — Dark, Cutting Tone with Quick Response
The Zildjian K Custom Dark 17" Crash Cymbal delivers a distinctly dark, full-bodied voice with warm, rich tones that cut through any ensemble. Built with K and A Style hammering techniques, this cymbal combines controlled stick definition with a characteristic dry, trashy character ideal for drummers seeking aggressive articulation and modern sound. The fine pattern of narrow symmetrical grooves stiffens the cymbal while enhancing its dry tonal character, ensuring fast response and quick decay for dynamic playing situations.
Whether you're recording, performing live, or building your cymbal stack, this 17" crash speaks immediately with intensity, then releases quickly for clean note separation. The overhammered construction creates slightly trashy overtones that sit perfectly in rock, metal, fusion, and contemporary music contexts.
