About the ST-362 Body Stamp

This guitar has an "ST-362" body stamp.

Some buyers may wonder whether this indicates a replacement body, but this is not unusual for Fender Japan guitars produced by the Fujigen Factory during this period.

Among Fender Japan enthusiasts, it is well known that Fujigen used basswood bodies stamped "ST-362" across multiple Stratocaster models, including the ST-40 as well as certain higher-grade '57 and '62 Reissue models.

For this reason, the ST-362 stamp is generally regarded as an internal production code rather than the commercial model designation.

Based on the construction and specifications of this instrument, I believe the body is original to the guitar.

There are some light scratches and a few small dents from normal use.

Overall, this guitar remains in exceptionally clean condition.

There are no cracks or signs of repairs.

The neck is almost perfectly straight.

The truss rod still tightens, but it has become quite stiff in the tightening direction. Since the neck is already in excellent playing condition, I have not tightened it any further.

The frets have plenty of life remaining.
(No fret buzzing)

The electronics and pickups work perfectly.

The tuners operate smoothly and provide excellent tuning stability.

The original Fender Japan soft case is included.
Please note that the zipper pull for the front accessory pocket is missing.
