The JCS21 is an electric guitar from the S series with a solid body, introduced by Ibanez in 2001. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the J Custom line.
The most striking feature of the JCS21 is the multicolored Japanese paper covering the body and headstock. It has a mahogany body attached to a set maple and bubinga neck with a 22-fret Honduran rosewood fingerboard with a special diamond with wings (or two kissing birds?) inlay at the twelfth fret. Components include a pair of DiMarzio PAF Pro humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, and Gotoh tuning machines.
The “JCS21” was only produced for one year, with a limited run of just twelve units.
