Technical specifications and design
- Circuit topology: 100% discrete transistor circuit based on the germanium/silicon architecture of the time (depending on the exact revision), powered by a standard +24V DC rail.
- Micro preview section:
- Gain of up to 60 dB.
- Balanced input via a dedicated transformer.
- Line section:
- Balanced input via a separate transformer.
- Equaliser (EQ):
- Two-band equaliser (Bass and Treble / Shelving), typically set at 60 Hz and 10 kHz.
- Departure:
- Depending on how it is integrated into the original console or chassis, it may be configured with an impedance-balanced output or a dedicated output transformer.
