About this listing
The 12-string version of the Martin D-28! Introduced in 1970, the D12-28 is the 12-string version of the D-28. The all-solid dreadnought body features a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood sides and back. The top features non-scalloped X-bracing, and the guitar is fitted with a black ebony bridge. The mahogany neck, with a 1-7/8" (approx. 47.5 mm) nut width and a 24.9" medium scale length, is fitted with a black ebony fingerboard. The headstock is equipped with a Rotomatic-style tuner featuring the Martin logo. Made in the USA at the Nazareth factory * It appears the frets have been replaced at some point. Since its arrival, it has been cleaned, adjusted, and the binding has been re-glued and repaired. Additionally, the bridge, which had come loose, has been reattached and repaired at a renowned guitar workshop. The truss rod has been checked for movement up to 60 degrees in both directions and is functioning properly; the frets still have sufficient height remaining. There is a paint chip (scratch) approximately 2 cm long on the body side (6th string side). Traces of the repair work remain along the body binding. There are noticeable gaps between the binding and the body (due to repair marks and age) and between the fingerboard and the neck (due to age). The body has scattered fine dents, scuffs, and playing marks. Although there are signs of use, repair marks, and aging, the playability is excellent! Please enjoy the crisp, resonant sound of this Martin 12-string!
