To achieve this, Fender has opted for a classic ash body in a classic Butterscotch Blonde finish, whose Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish recreates the look and feel of an instrument that has been played intensively for decades. The single-ply black pickguard, nickel/chrome hardware and traditional Telecaster construction are also closely modelled on the appearance of the early 1950s. As the first solid-body electric guitar model, the Telecaster is one of the most important historical instruments in its category and revolutionised the guitar market in the early 1950s. The instrument also comes complete with a Tweed hardshell case.High-quality craftsmanship and authentic specificationsThe ash body is complemented by a one-piece maple neck featuring the robust 1951 ‘U’ profile. This also features a Road Worn Nitro finish and, with its 7.25-inch fingerboard radius, 21 Vintage Tall frets and a nut width of 42 mm, offers an authentic vintage playing feel. A bone nut and Fender vintage-style tuners round off the traditional features, whilst the 648 mm scale length meets the familiar Fender standard.Pure Vintage '51 Telecaster Single-Coil PickupsTwo Pure Vintage '51 single-coil Telecaster pickups ensure the right sound, controlled via the classic 3-way blade switch as well as the master volume and master tone controls. This delivers the characteristic sounds of early Telecasters, ranging from crisp rhythm tones to the catchy twang of the bridge pickup. The 3-saddle vintage-style strings-through-body bridge, featuring three brass barrel saddles, also follows the historic design and rounds off the 75th Anniversary Vintera Road Worn 1951 Telecaster as a tribute to the early years of the Tele.
