The Evans EC2 EC2TSCTD-R Tom Head Set is a Tom Tom drum head set. The EC2 set features sound shaping technology ring mounts underneath two plies of 7mil film. By controlling edge vibration (instead of eliminating it), the ring isolates and damps higher overtones, enhancing low-end and attack, and enabling a broader tuning range. All Evans heads feature the Level 360 Collar. This collar ensures a balanced contact around the bearing edge of the shell, making tuning an absolute breeze and enhancing the sound quality by allowing the head to better resonate though out your drum shell.
